HOOKS, Texas – Texas A&M University-Texarkana Softball completed a weekend sweep of two RRAC opponents, dominating the Rams of Huston-Tillotson on Saturday with a 6-0 win in game one and a 12-1 victory in game two. On Sunday, the Eagles faced off against the Jaguars of UH-Victoria, securing a 9-5 win in game one and a 9-1 victory in game two.
Saturday, Game 1: Rams 0, Eagles 6
The Eagles wasted no time, jumping ahead in the bottom of the second with three runs. Kasen Morkisch powered a two-run inside-the-park home run, and Grace Cantu followed up with a solo shot to center field. TAMUT extended their lead to 6-0, adding one run in the third off an error and two more in the fourth. Madison Dingman led the Eagles with two hits in three at-bats, including two stolen bases. In the circle, Rylee Glem earned her eighth win of the season, allowing just one hit and no runs over five innings, while striking out five and walking one.
Saturday, Game 2: Rams 1, Eagles 12
The Eagles exploded for seven runs in the first inning, setting the tone early. The Rams managed to score once in the top of the third, but TAMUT answered with a five-run fourth inning to seal the game. Baylee Stautzenberger drove in two RBIs to lead the Eagles' offense. Dingman contributed two more stolen bases, while Morgan Benge earned the win, giving up just one run in four innings with four strikeouts and two walks.
Sunday, Game 1: Jaguars 5, Eagles 9
TAMUT struck first with a single from Cantu that brought in Morkisch. The Eagles added more in the third, with Morkisch hitting a single and Cantu adding a sacrifice fly. Morkisch finished the game 3-for-4 at the plate, leading the Eagles' offense. Rylee Glem earned the win, and Alexis Snyder came in for relief, earning the save to seal the victory.
Sunday, Game 2: Jaguars 1, Eagles 9
The Eagles again struck first, with Morkisch's single bringing in Dingman. The Jaguars tied it in the second, but TAMUT regained control with a three-run second inning. The Eagles would finish off the Jaguars in the fifth inning, adding five more runs to end the game early. Skyler Martin and Stautzenberger each drove in two runs, while Dingman recorded two hits. Morgan Benge earned the win, allowing just two hits and one run over five innings.

The Eagles will face the Division II Reddies of Henderson State this Tuesday at Bramlett Field in Texarkana, Texas. First pitch for game one is set for 1 p.m., with game two to follow.
