Eagles Ranked Second in RRAC Cross Country Preseason Poll
TEXARKANA, Texas – The Texas A&M University–Texarkana women's cross country team has been picked to finish second in the 2025 Red River Athletic Conference preseason poll, released this week.
The ranking comes as the Eagles enter a new era under first-year head coach David Lawrence Jr., who looks to continue building momentum for the program.
TAMUT sits just behind preseason favorite Our Lady of the Lake University (Texas) in the poll, with North American (Texas), Southwest (N.M.), UNT-Dallas (Texas), and Xavier (La.) rounding out the conference standings.
The Eagles will open their 2025 campaign on September 27th at the Topper Trails College Classic, hosted by Blue Mountain College in Blue Mountain, Miss. aiming to turn their preseason recognition into a strong finish this fall.
