Magassa named Women's Runner of the Week by RRAC

The A&M-Texarkana women's cross-country team is seeing a drastic improvement over the previous season, and a big reason for that is the performance of Minan Magassa, named Red River Athletic Conference Women's Runner of the Week on Tuesday.
Magassa, a junior transfer from Nice, France, finished 10th at last weekend's Nicholls State Invitational, helping the Eagles to a third-place finish as a team. Her time of 20:11 in the 5k race was the best for the team on Saturday.
Magassa also finished seventh in the Nicole Lehman Invitational in early September, one of four TAMUT runners to finish in the Top 10, where the team won the overall team championship.
