Women's XC team finishes third at Nicholls State meet
Four runners from A&M-Texarkana finished in the Top 20 on Saturday to vault the team to a third-place finish at the Nicholls State Invitational.
THIBODAUX, La. — Four runners from A&M-Texarkana finished in the Top 20 on Saturday to vault the team to a third-place finish at the Nicholls State Invitational.
Minankolo Magassa finished 10th, Ana Ximena Loya was 13th and Zalenka Brannan was 15th. Daniela Hernandez finished 16th to help the women earn another high finish this season. Angelique Colon came in 30th and Kassandra Munguia was 34th to complete the Eagles' individual results.
A&M-Texarkana finished with 76 points, just seven back of second-place Alcorn State. Host team Nicholls State took the overall team title with just 29 points.
The team will have two weeks before their next competition on Oct. 13 at the Arturo Barrios Invitational in College Station.
