RRAC Forecast: Volleyball Ranks #1 in Pre-Season Poll
WACO, Texas – Coming off its first RRAC volleyball regular season title last year, Texas A&M-Texarkana supplanted the conference's two perennial powers – Our Lady of the Lake and Xavier – again in the 2025 preseason poll.
TAMUT claimed four first-place votes, while Xavier is picked second with one and OLLU lands in third place with one. OLLU entered the 2024 RRAC tournament as the No. 2 seed and defeated both Xavier and TAMUT to earn long-awaited redemption for past title game losses.
Louisiana Christian earned the fourth spot followed by Jarvis Christian and Texas College.
The number of teams was reduced to six this year with the departure of Huston-Tillotson and Paul Quinn from the conference. Southwest's volleyball program is on hold for this year.
Voting was conducted by the conference's head coaches. Results of the poll are shown below with points calculated through a 6-5-4-3-2-1 format.
