TAMUT Opener Preview: Track & Field Hosts First-Ever Home Meet
TEXARKANA, Texas – The Texas A&M University–Texarkana track and field program is set to host its first-ever home meet this Friday, March 13, at Pleasant Grove High School.
Four schools will be represented at the meet, including Texas A&M–Texarkana, Philander Smith, Wiley, and Arkansas Baptist, as the Eagles welcome competitors to Texarkana for a full day of events.
Field events will begin at 9:00 a.m. with a rolling schedule, followed by running events starting at 11:00 a.m. The meet will feature a variety of throwing, jumping, and distance and sprint races throughout the day.
