Brian Nelson begins his first year as head coach of Texas A&M University-Texarkana’s Men’s and Women’s tennis teams. He previously led the Southeastern tennis program from 2019.
A native of Hugo, Oklahoma, Nelson spent the 2018–19 season coaching both men’s and women’s tennis at Wisconsin-Green Bay, where his teams combined for 11 wins and included a first-team All-Horizon League selection.
Before UWGB, Nelson spent 11 seasons at Seminole State College (SSC), an NJCAA member, guiding SSC to a national runner-up finish in 2016.
