SHREVEPORT, La. – The Texas A&M University–Texarkana women's tennis team faced a tough test against No. 18 Dillard University, falling 4-1 in a neutral site matchup in Shreveport, Louisiana.
The Eagles opened the day with a strong showing in doubles play, highlighted by a 6-3 victory at the No. 1 position from the duo of Ana Gonzalez and Lucia Siddens. Despite the early momentum, Dillard claimed wins at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles to secure the doubles point.
In singles action, TAMUT continued to compete at a high level against the nationally ranked opponent. Lucia Siddens delivered the Eagles' lone point of the match with an impressive three-set victory at No. 2 singles, bouncing back after dropping the first set to win 1-6, 6-2, 6-3.
