Women’s Golf Competes at Bethany College Classic
NEWTON, Kan. — The Texas A&M University–Texarkana women's golf team competed at the Bethany College Classic, finishing fourth out of six teams with a two-round total of 687 (+111).
The Eagles were led by Liberty Thomson, who turned in a strong performance to place seventh overall with a 167 (+23). Ella Dieter followed closely behind with a ninth-place finish at 169 (+25), while Jalee Sampley rounded out the top performers with a 12th-place showing at 170 (+26).
Lainee McMillon placed 22nd with a score of 181 (+37), and Anna Anglen finished 29th at 193 (+49) to complete the Eagles' lineup.
As a team, TAMUT showed steady improvement across the tournament, recording five birdies in the opening round and adding six more in the second round.
