Women’s Golf Battles to 7th-Place Finish in Hobbs
HOBBS, N.M. – The Texas A&M University-Texarkana women's golf team competed in the Battle in the Desert, hosted by Red River Athletic Conference rival University of the Southwest, on September 29-30.
The Eagles battled against a strong field, finishing 7th overall with a combined score of 1024 (+160).
Leading the way for A&M-Texarkana was Liberty Thomson, who posted rounds of 85, 77, and 88 to finish at 250 (+34), tying for 32nd overall. Ella Dieter followed close behind with a 253 (+37), placing 36th.
