PINEVILLE, La. – The Texas A&M University–Texarkana women's basketball team continued its road win streak with a 63-48 victory over the Louisiana Christian University Wildcats, improving to 3-1 in Red River Athletic Conference play.
The Eagles struck early, taking control in the first quarter with a 23-17 advantage—their highest-scoring frame of the night—and carried a 34-26 lead into halftime. TAMUT kept the Wildcats at arm's length throughout the second half, securing their third straight RRAC win.
Eleionna Brown led the charge with a dominant double-double, scoring 12 points and grabbing 11 rebounds while shooting 50% from the field and 66% from three. She also filled the stat sheet with 4 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block. Imani Rothschild added a strong performance of her own, finishing with 11 points, 8 rebounds, 5 steals, and 4 assists.
The Eagles' bench outscored LCU 25-7, and TAMUT capitalized on 20 Wildcat turnovers, turning them into 24 points. A&M–Texarkana also controlled the paint, posting 36 points inside and adding 16 second-chance points.
The Eagles return to action on December 13th on the road at LSU Alexandria, where they'll look to extend their win streak. Tip-off is set for 1 p.m. at The Fort.
