First-place LSUS hands Eagles fourth straight defeat, 66-42

The Pilots (17-2 overall, 13-0 RRAC) led 11-9 after one, 27-18 at halftime and 46-35 entering the fourth, where they outscored TAMUT (9-10, 6-7) by a 20-7 margin. The Eagles shot just 34.8 percent from the floor (16-of-46) and lost 28 turnovers that led to 32 points for the visitors.
Jaslyn Woods led the Eagles with 15 points while Kayla Williams registered a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds. Delfina Misiuna chipped in eight points for TAMUT, who will stay home Thursday to host Huston-Tillotson before a home game Saturday against Our Lady of the Lake.
Kenyal Perry led the Pilots with 16 points and Tyquanna Ross added 10 while 10 different LSU-S players got in on the scoring. The Pilots finished shooting 28-of-66 from the field (42.4 percent). LSU-Shreveport outrebounded the Eagles by a 36-28 margin, outscored them in the paint, 46-24, and got 51 points from their bench players.
The game included six ties and eight lead changes.
