The Eagles (9-6, 6-3 RRAC) jumped out to a 13-point lead after the opening period (25-12) and cruised the rest of the way to even their home record at 3-3 and earn their seventh win in eight games. TAMUT grabbed 45 rebounds as a team, scored 30 points in the paint and held the Stallions (8-9, 5-5 RRAC) to just 31.2 percent shooting from the field.
Woods made 10-of-16 shots from the floor, including 4-of-5 from long range and 7-of-8 from the free throw line. Williams also added 12 points and five assists to record her fifth double-double of the season. Delfina Misiuna also had a double-double with 10 points, 10 rebounds and five assists. Quren Santiago also scored 10 points.
Desiree Rogers led NAU with 18 points while Keiarra Rivers put in 13 and Victoria Moore added 11. The Stallions made just 24-of-77 shots and 2-of-19 (10.5 percent) from long distance.
The Eagles are back home Saturday to take on Xavier (La.) at 2 pm.
