TEXARKANA, Texas – The Texas A&M University–Texarkana softball team delivered a dominant weekend at Bramlett Field, sweeping Jarvis Christian University in three straight run-rule victories to remain unbeaten in Red River Athletic Conference play.
The Eagles outscored the Bulldogs 28-0 across the series, pounding out 35 hits while the pitching staff combined for two shutouts and 19 strikeouts.
Game 1: TAMUT 12, Jarvis Christian 0
TAMUT wasted no time setting the tone in Friday's opener, erupting for five runs in the second inning and never looking back in a 12-0 victory.
The Eagles tallied 15 hits in just four at-bats, led by Mackenzie Williams' perfect 4-for-4 performance with three RBI.
Kamryn Walker added two hits and scored twice, while Jaquelyn Schmidt collected a pair of hits and drove in a run. Presley Humphrey plated two runs, and Victoria Clayton went 2-for-2 with an RBI.
After the early surge, TAMUT added four runs in the third and three more in the fourth to secure the run-rule win.
Rylee Glenn was sharp in the circle, tossing four innings of one-hit ball with six strikeouts to earn her fifth win of the season.
Sarah Phillips struck out three in a scoreless fifth to seal the shutout as the Eagles limited Jarvis Christian to just two hits.
Game 2: TAMUT 8, Jarvis Christian 0
The Eagles carried that momentum straight into game two, opening with three runs in the first and cruising to an 8-0 victory.
Mackenzie Williams stayed hot, going 2-for-2 with a double and an RBI while swiping three bases.
Grace Cantu recorded two hits and two runs scored, and Jaqueline Hernandez drove in two runs as part of a 2-for-3 outing. Presley Humphrey and Morgan Yeager each added RBI as TAMUT finished with 10 hits.
In the circle, Alexis Snyder was untouchable. The right-hander fired a five-inning no-hitter, striking out seven and facing just 15 batters in a complete-game effort.
Jarvis Christian did not record a baserunner as Snyder secured her fifth win of the year.
Game 3: TAMUT 8, Jarvis Christian 0
Saturday's finale followed a similar script, with TAMUT breaking through in the third inning and steadily building separation in an 8-0 win.
Brooke Usrey paced the offense with two hits and two RBI, while Jaqueline Hernandez delivered a 3-for-3 performance with a double and an RBI.
Presley Humphrey launched a home run and drove in a run, and Morgan Yeager added a triple and an RBI as the Eagles compiled 10 more hits.
Morgan Benge earned the win after allowing just three hits over five scoreless innings
Phillips closed out the sixth inning as the Eagles completed their second shutout of the series.

The Eagles' balance was evident throughout the weekend—timely hitting, aggressive baserunning, and efficient pitching combined to overwhelm the Bulldogs. Defensively, TAMUT committed just one error across three games while holding Jarvis Christian to six total hits.
With the sweep, the Eagles improve to 11-4 overall and 5-0 in conference play. TAMUT will look to carry its momentum into next week as they head to the Gulf Shores to compete in the Gulf Shores Invitational. The Eagles will face Freed-Hardeman and Thomas on Friday, March 6th with first pitch at 1:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.
