Glenn Claims Second RRAC Pitcher of the Week Honor This Season
WACO, Texas – Lilly Rocha of Our Lady of the Lake University (Texas) garnered the RRAC Softball Player of the Week award for March 17-23, while Rylee Glenn of Texas A&M University-Texarkana was tabbed as the RRAC Pitcher of the Week for the same dates. This is the eighth set of weekly winners for the 2025 RRAC softball season.
Rocha powered the Saints to a 3-1 week while hitting .636 and driving in six runs. The sophomore third baseman/first baseman from Harlingen, Texas, homered first in a 3-2 victory over No. 3 University of Science & Arts (Okla.) and again in the second game of a double-header against Texas A&M University-San Antonio. Rocha racked up five extra-base hits, five runs scored and three walks for the week. She is tied for the conference's home run lead (7) and she is fifth in RBIs (28). OLLU remains atop the RRAC standings at 14-0 with a 28-6 mark on the season.
Glenn tossed a four-hit shutout in a 7-0 victory over Louisiana Christian University. The junior righty from Houston struck out four hitters and walked two over seven innings in the circle. Glenn is 7-0 with a conference-leading 1.76 ERA. She is also fifth in strikeouts with 49. TAMUT climbed to 10-2 in the RRAC with a 23-5 mark overall.
