Glenn Earns RRAC Pitcher of the Week Honors
WACO, Texas – Kristee Salas of Our Lady of the Lake University (Texas) garnered the RRAC Softball Player of the Week distinction for Feb. 10-16, while Rylee Glenn of Texas A&M University-Texarkana earned the RRAC Pitcher of the Week honor for the same dates. This is the third set of weekly winners for the 2025 RRAC softball season.
Salas homered twice and drove in seven runs as OLLU went 3-1 as hosts of the Saints Classic. The graduate utility player from Edinburg, Texas, was 6-for-9 hitting including two hits, a home run and three RBIs in a 9-0 victory over Missouri Baptist University. Salas posted a .727 on-base percentage and scored three runs in the tournament. She has 10 RBIs in 11 games. OLLU, the defending NAIA national champions, are 8-3 on the season.
Glenn only allowed two hits as the Eagles posted two shutouts in her appearances. The junior from Houston limited Central Baptist University (Ark.) to one hit in five innings en route to a 12-0 win, and she was tagged with one hit and one walk in four innings to defeat Centenary College (La.), 5-0. Glenn struck out nine hitters for the week. She is 2-0 in five appearances with a 1.84 ERA, which is sixth best in the RRAC. TAMUT surged to a 9-3 mark.
