Men’s Cross Country Concludes 2025 Campaign at NAIA Nationals
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Texas A&M University–Texarkana men's cross-country team wrapped up its 2025 campaign on Friday as four Eagles represented the program at the NAIA National Championships, battling a deep and talented field of 326 runners on a demanding 8K course at Apalachee Regional Park.
Junior Chapman White led the charge for TAMUT, turning in the team's top performance. White navigated the rolling terrain and tight race packs to clock a 27:35.7, securing 264th place and setting the pace for the Eagles' contingent.
Freshman Gideon Kiptoo was the next Eagle across the line, delivering a solid national meet debut. Kiptoo placed 281st with a time of 28:03.1, closing strong over the final mile.
Junior Levi Wagner followed shortly after, finishing in 288th place with a time of 28:14.3. Freshman Terrance Toliver II rounded out the Eagles' competitors, posting a 28:59.5 to earn 295th place in his first appearance on the national stage.
Competing against the best in the NAIA, the Eagles walked away with valuable lessons and momentum for the future. With a strong mix of returning talent and emerging young runners, TAMUT is set to take another step forward when the 2026 season arrives.
