Men’s XC Finishes 8th at Highly Competitive Watson Classic
CLINTON, Miss. – The Texas A&M University-Texarkana men's cross country team competed at the Watson Collegiate XC Classic, hosted by Mississippi College at their home course, Choctaw Trails—one of the premier courses in the southern region. The field featured 24 teams and 214 runners across all divisions, making for highly competitive racing.
Levi Wagner led the Eagles, finishing 28th overall with a time of 26:14.4. Following him was Gideon Kiptoo in 50th place (26:41.8), Chapman White in 54th (26:48.0), Terrance Toliver II in 56th (26:50.3), Elyk Williams in 99th (28:13.0), Faizone Ogendo in 101st (28:16.5), and Graycen Vargo in 105th (28:27.5), rounding out the scoring finishers for TAMUT.
As a team, the Eagles earned an 8th-place finish overall, posting a team average of 27:21.

The Eagles return to action on October 31, hosting the Red River Athletic Conference Championship, their lone home meet of the season. The race is scheduled to start at 10:00 a.m.
