Men’s Cross Country Claims Second Place at Ouachita Baptist
ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – The Texas A&M University–Texarkana men's cross country team competed at the Tiger Invitational hosted by NCAA Division II Ouachita Baptist on October 10. The Eagles lined up against three teams and 54 runners on the fast 8k course.
Levi Wagner led the charge for the Eagles, finishing 6th overall with a time of 25:36.64. Close behind was Chapman White in 13th place at 26:33.20, followed by Gideon Kiptoo in 14th with a time of 26:42.24. Rounding out the scoring for Texarkana were Graycen Vargo (19th, 27:15.57), Terrance Toliver II (20th, 27:18.68), Faizone Ogendo (27th, 27:44.83), and Elyk Williams (30th, 28:06.91).
As a team, the Eagles secured a second-place overall finish, posting a team average of 27:16.87, trailing only the host Ouachita Baptist.
