Wagner Wins Individual Title, Eagles Finish Second at Topper Trails Classic
BLUE MOUNTAIN, Miss. – The Texas A&M University–Texarkana men's cross country team turned in a strong showing at the Topper Trails College Classic hosted by Blue Mountain Christian University on September 27. The Eagles competed against 11 teams and 58 runners on the challenging 8K course.
Levi Wagner set the tone for the Eagles, winning the individual title with a first-place finish in 27:23.57. He was followed by Chapman White, who finished fourth in 27:46.16. Terrance Toliver II (9th – 28:34.24), Gideon Kiptoo (10th – 28:48.66), Faizone Ogendo (14th – 29:13.73), and Elyk Williams (17th – 29:26.45) all secured top-20 finishes to solidify the team's effort.
Behind those results, A&M–Texarkana earned second place in the team standings, trailing only the host Blue Mountain Christian. The Eagles posted a team average of 28:21.
