Eagles compete at NAIA Cross Country Nationals
Five members of the Texas A&M University-Texarkana cross country teams competed Friday in the NAIA National Cross Country Championships in Washington.
VANCOUVER, Wash. — Five members of the Texas A&M University-Texarkana cross country teams competed Friday in the NAIA National Cross Country Championships in Washington.
In the men's 8K race, David Hernandez led three Eagles with a time of 27:07.1. Shea Johnson clocked a time of 27:10.2 and senior Charles Dorsett III finished in 28:02.3 in his final race for the Eagles.
On the women's side, Minankolo Magassa clocked a time of 24:23.9 while freshman Zalenka Brannan turned in a time of 25:14.5 in the 6k race.
Jackson Wilson of Rocky Mountain and Addy Wiley of Huntington won the men's and women's individual national titles, respectively.
