Christopher Korir, a junior transfer from New Mexico Junior College, hasn't been with the team long, but he paced the Eagles during Friday's meet in College Station, clocking a time of 25:28.4 in the men's 8K race at the Arturo Barrios Invitational.
Korir, a native of Kenya, led all NAIA runners and finished 209th out of 365 total competitors, the majority of which compete on the NCAA Division I level.
