Dorsett to compete next week at NAIA Outdoor Championship

A&M-Texarkana's Charles Dorsett III will wrap up the 2022-23 outdoor track and field season next weekend when he competes during the 2023 NAIA Men's Outdoor Championship, to be held May 24-26 at Wildcat Stadium on the campus of Indiana Wesleyan in Marion, Ind.

Dorsett is the fourth overall seed out of 29 competitors in the Men's 800 Meters with a qualifying time of 1:49.77, less than a second behind the top qualifier (1:49.07).

Preliminaries for the event are scheduled for 1:50 pm CT on Thursday, May 25, with finals for the event to begin at 3 pm CT on Friday, May 26.
