Men’s Tennis Earns Final National Recognition in NAIA Poll
TEXARKANA, Texas – The Texas A&M University–Texarkana men's tennis team concluded the season receiving votes in the final NAIA National Poll, highlighting a year of consistent national recognition for the Eagles.
The Eagles finished the season with a 19–8 overall record, with nearly all of their losses coming against nationally ranked opponents. Throughout the spring, Texas A&M–Texarkana demonstrated depth and resilience across both singles and doubles play, earning key victories against a competitive schedule.
The Eagles remained in the "receiving votes" category for the majority of the season and climbed as high as No. 15 in the ITA national rankings, further showcasing their ability to compete at a high level. Their consistent performances positioned them among the top teams just outside the NAIA Top 25.
With the season complete, Texas A&M–Texarkana now awaits its postseason fate, as the NAIA National Championship selection show is set for April 28 at 3 p.m. CT.
