Men’s Basketball Places Four on All-RRAC Teams
TEXARKANA, Texas — Texas A&M University–Texarkana placed four student-athletes on the 2025-26 All-Red River Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Teams, highlighted by a First Team selection for senior guard Deovaunta Williams.
The Eagles closed the regular season at 19-9 overall and 15-7 in RRAC play, earning multiple postseason honors for their standout performances throughout the year.
First Team All-RRAC
Deovaunta Williams | Senior | Guard | Memphis, Tennessee
Williams led A&M-Texarkana offensively, averaging 16.5 points per game while shooting 39.2 percent from the field, 28.3 percent from three-point range, and 76.5 percent at the free throw line. He added 4.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 2.4 steals per contest.
Williams recorded 21 double-figure scoring games, including six performances of 25 or more points. He ranked No. 1 in the RRAC in total steals and paced the team with 463 total points. The Memphis native surpassed the 1,000-career-point milestone this season and earned RRAC Offensive Player of the Week honors twice.
Second Team All-RRAC
Jarren Cook | Graduate | Guard | Dallas, Texas
Cook averaged 15.3 points per game while shooting 41.2 percent from the floor, 36.9 percent from beyond the arc, and 78 percent from the free throw line. He contributed 3.5 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game, tallying 18 double-figure scoring outings and six 20-point performances.
Cook holds both the RRAC and TAMUT single-game record for most three-pointers made and also eclipsed the 1,000-career-point mark this season.
Daryl Houston | Senior | Guard | Cleveland, Ohio
Houston averaged 11.4 points and a team-high 8.9 rebounds per game while shooting an efficient 53.4 percent from the field and 75.8 percent at the free throw line. He added 2.5 assists and 2.1 steals per contest.
He posted 18 double-figure scoring games and recorded nine double-doubles during the season. Houston also holds the TAMUT single-game rebounding record and reached 1,000 career points this year.
