Bio
Cale Wagoner enters his first season as Pitching Coach at Texas A&M University–Texarkana. In addition to leading pitcher development, he also oversees the Eagles’ Strength and Conditioning program and assists Head Coach Chase Brewster with practice and game operations.
Wagoner comes to Texarkana after a five-year playing career at NCAA Division II Limestone University, where he logged 134 innings with a career ERA of 4.97. He ranks tied for seventh in program history with 56 career appearances. In Limestone’s final year of competition, the Saints finished fourth in both the South Atlantic Conference regular season and championship tournament.
A standout student-athlete, Wagoner was a two-time Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Athlete of the Year and graduated in 2024 with dual degrees in Business Marketing and Business Management. He is currently pursuing his MBA in Management at A&M–Texarkana.
Originally from San Antonio, Wagoner played at San Antonio Reagan High School, helping lead the Rattlers to two Texas 6A State Championship appearances. His team was ranked No. 1 in Texas and No. 7 nationally before the 2020 season was cut short by COVID-19.
When not in Texarkana, Wagoner resides in Edmond, Oklahoma. He credits his family—parents Mark and Michelle, and brother James—for their constant support throughout his journey.
