Eagles clinch series with walk-off win over Huston-Tillotson
The A&M-Texarkana Baseball team rallied in the ninth inning of Sunday’s series finale against Huston-Tillotson and walked off a 7-6 win at Dobson Field to claim the series win and improve to 18-20 overall and 15-9 in conference play.

The Eagles will take a short break from their RRAC schedule with a trip to Conway, Ark. on Tuesday for a doubleheader against Central Baptist, scheduled for a 12 pm start. The Eagles return home Friday to open a crucial conference series against Xavier (La) with a 6 pm contest at Dobson Field.
GAME NOTES
• The Rams opened the first inning with a run and held a 6-4 lead entering the final frame, where the Eagles put up three runs. Each team had 10 hits and the Eagles overcame three defensive errors with four extra-base hits.
• Brandon Riley tripled, stole a base, and drove in three runs, finishing the day with two hits. Hunter Reid homered and doubled, and Jarren Lewis added a double. Adam Garren finished with two hits.
• Gage Mason got the start and pitched 4.2 innings, giving up seven hits, four earned runs and striking out five. Blake Taylor pitched 3.1 innings of relief and Anthony Galindo (2-3) got the win after tossing a scoreless, hitless ninth inning with two strikeouts.
• Riley tied the game at 6-6 in the ninth with a two-run single, and TJ Hughes followed with the game-winning hit that scored Shraedon Naeole-Starkey.
