Three Eagles earn All-Conference honors during 2023 season
Three members of the A&M-Texarkana baseball program earned All-Conference accolades when the Red River Athletic Conference released it’s 2023 All-RRAC list on Thursday.
Three members of the A&M-Texarkana baseball program earned All-Conference accolades when the Red River Athletic Conference released it's 2023 All-RRAC list on Thursday. Hunter Reid, Brandon Riley and Gage Mason were all selected for the Second Team, and Reid earned a spot on the Champions of Character Team for exhibiting the NAIA's five core values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership.
Reid has provided the Eagles with plenty of power at the plate, leading the team in home runs (10), RBI (31), extra base hits (18) and slugging (.583). He's third in runs with 29, fourth in hits (39) and has drawn a team-high 21 walks. Reid is also solid at his first base position with a .997 fielding percentage, committing just one error in 295 chances.
Riley ranks first in the team in hits (46), runs scored (32), and is second in batting (.346) and third in RBI (28). He has totaled 10 extra base hits for the Eagles.
Mason led all Eagle starters with a 3.32 ERA during 14 appearances and seven starts. He's posted a 4-2 record, totaling 40.2 innings, 46 strikeouts and just 15 earned runs.
